They gazed at the large structure of colorful blocks neatly stacked before them. The goal was simple: climb to the highest level possible. Getting there was more challenging than originally thought. Only one climber will make it to the top. Will it be you?
Your goal is to climb to the highest level of the structure. To help with your climb, you may move and rotate blocks. Ladders can be used to climb large distances. Your blocking disk will prevent other players from using a specific block. Use your tools wisely and at the right time to make the best possible moves in your adventure to the top!

In The Climbers, players will cooperate to assemble a random setup of blocks according to a couple basic rules. Afterward, on your turn, you can move a single block from the structure and then move your climber laterally or upward according to its color: You can only move onto a block if its surface is either white or matches your climber. At some point, players will have no further moves that will allow their climbers to move upward, and then the player with the climber that’s climbed the highest is the winner!
Along the way, you’ll have a short ladder, a longer ladder, and a blocking marker, each of which is a single-use tool to help your climber or hinder your opponents’. There are a couple restrictions regarding block placement and movement, but for the most part, the game is just that simple. Players will be seeking out their best moves to both ascend the highest and best stop their opponents, giving plenty of interesting decision-making and engaging tactile play with a very simple rule set.
