There’s great news for stores hosting Guild Ball tournaments. Applications for the 2017 North American Regional Qualifiers are now open! They are looking for local stores to host the Qualifiers for various regions throughout 2017. North American retailers can apply now for consideration to host during the February–October Regional Championship season. Don’t miss out!
What Are Regional Qualifiers?
Regional Qualifier Tournaments are the first step beyond Store Events for competitors who are eager to make their way toward a Regional Championship or even the North American Championships. These prestigious events are designed to bring players from vast geographic areas together for an unforgettable experience. To find out more about the process, click on the Regional Qualifier link.
What Happens After Regional Qualifiers?
As you can see, the competitive journey to a Regional Championship starts at local game stores with a Regional Qualifier. Winning one of these events guarantees players a place in a Regional Championship.
To get one step closer to the World Championship, players then need to win a Regional Championship, which would give them automatic entry to the North American Championship. The final step toward international acclaim and prestige is the World Championship (which will likely be held at either SteamCon USA and/or SteamCon UK).
How Do I Apply To Host A Regional Qualifier?
If you are a retail store that has demonstrated a passion for Guild Ball, you may apply as a Regional Qualifier. Since these are exclusive events, Storm Forged Games hopes to find retailers that value the game and its incredible player community. Do you run weekly game nights, have you previously participated in major SFG events, or have you created your own, unique SFG-related events in the past? Let them know when you fill out the application.
