PHD is now carrying 28mm, highly detailed, tabletop miniature terrain by Plast Craft Games. Plast Craft Games offers pre-cut PVC sheet terrain that assembles with little effort and tools. It also takes to paint very nicely.
The most exciting lineup from Plast Craft Games is their officially licensed Infinity terrain designed specifically for miniatures tabletop game.
Tutorial: Old West Bank Building
I chose to create a step-by-step tutorial for one of the Old West series buildings because unlike the other lines by Plast Craft Games, the Old West series requires a slightly more involved process to assemble and by “slightly”, I mean one pretty simple extra step. All the Plast Craft buildings already include some great details and etched lines, but the Old West buildings come with featureless walls so it is necessary to create the look of wooden planks, but don’t worry, the special foamed PVC material makes this easy. This model is Old West Building 05. SKU:PCGOLDW05
- Hobby knife (PIP93104 or TAPTL5004)
- Cyanoacrylate glue (PATPT03)
- Primer Leather Brown spray paint – (TAPCP3004)
- Acrylic hobby paints (black, brown, off-white, red)
- Paint brush (TAPBR7011)
Apply a small bead of glue to one edge. Don’t over do it.
Once you finish your first building, you should now be able to crank through more with ease. One of the best features of Plast Craft Games’ buildings is that the low price allows you to make make loads of terrain for your gaming tables even on a tight budget.
