Eiryss, Mage Hunter Commander
After years of hunting human spellcasters and gathering intelligence on the armies of mankind as a mercenary, Eiryss has returned to her proper place as one of the foremost leaders of the Retribution. Now she takes to the field leading other mage hunters, inspiring them to feats of incredible bravery and peerless precision while lending her own deadly skills to rid the world of humanity’s blasphemy against Scyrah.
Skarlocks serve as extensions of the will of the lich lords and other generals of Cryx, and skarlock commanders are no exception. Reanimated to command simpler mechanithralls and bile thralls at the behest of their masters, skarlock commanders harvest the souls of those they slay. Soldiers assailed by a skarlock commander and its thralls are tormented by the sight of their comrades brutally slaughtered, only to have their souls used as fuel to power the commander’s dark magic.
Accretion servitors are indispensable on the battlefield due to their versatile suite of semi-autonomous repair procedures. They carry a small array of mechanikal tools that enable them to provide temporary fixes to clockwork vessels and vectors in the heat of battle. These quick repairs can mean the difference between victory and defeat.
Ready to repel any threats to the Great Work, reciprocators stand firm, shields interlocking with engineered perfection as they brace to absorb enemy assaults. After blunting a charge against their heavy shields and spears, the reciprocators spring into an immediate counterassault, converting their protean polearms from defensive spears to wicked halberds.
The sorcerers of the trollkin are not timid lore masters but determined and lethal combatants. Typically born with the white skin and red eyes of albinos, making them easily recognized as trollkin sorcerers at birth, they often command powers associated with elements prevalent in the region of their birth. Thus, many originating from the north command the cold winds of winter as a powerful weapon that can be used to attack or defend.
Blinded by generations in subterranean lairs, night trolls rely on other senses to stalk their prey under cover of darkness. When trollkin warlocks impel them to venture out into the daylight they can become lethal allies. Even enemies fortunate enough to survive an encounter with one of these terrifying creatures are forever haunted by the memory of it hypnotizing their comrades and tearing them apart with venomous, paralyzing claws.
