Winter Queen is an abstract family game. You will take on the roles of Winter Queen’s sorcerers, creating magical ornaments out of enchanted crystals. Each turn, you either place a new crystal onto the board or use already placed crystals to score victory points depending on the spell books you and your opponents have.
Players: 1–4 • Play time: 60–120 min.
Imperium is an asymmetrical card-based civilization building game, charting the rise and fall of some of the greatest civilizations from history and legend. Formidable adversaries are arrayed against you. Your people stand ready. History beckons.
In your hands lies the destiny of one of most storied peoples of history. Under constant threat of attack, you must conquer new lands, oversee dramatic scientific and cultural advances, and lead your people into the era of empire. Expand too rapidly, and unrest will bring your civilization to its knees; build up too slowly, however, and you might find yourself a mere footnote of history. As one of eight radically asymmetrical civilizations, you will compete to become the most dominant empire the world has ever seen.
Imperium: Legends and Imperium: Classes are both standalone games that are compatible with each other. Legends contains the three most challenging civilizations in Imperium—the Arthurians, Utopians, and Atlantians—as well as the Egyptians, Mauryan, Minoan, Olmec, and Qin civilizations. Classics contains the Carthaginian, Celt, Greek, Macedonian, Persian, Roman, Scythian, and Viking civilizations. Each faction can be played against solo.
From the late Revolutionary Wars and Egyptian campaign, to the battles of Austerlitz, Borodino, Leipzig, and Waterloo, Absolute Emperor is a mass-battle wargame that provides all the rules needed to play during this period of grand armies and sweeping campaigns. Players’ armies are composed of multiple corps, with command and control being of the utmost importance, all influenced by the elan of your general. Do you follow in the footsteps of Napoleon and be crowned the Absolute Emperor or stand against tyranny as Wellington and Blücher?
Empires of the North: Egyptian Kings
Empires of the North: Egyptian Kings is the fourth expansion in the line and introduces two brand new faction decks to the game. Empires of the North: Egyptian Kings is designed by Joanna Kijanka, the designer behind all of the previous highly acclaimed expansions to the game. This expansion comes with 72 cards, a punch board, and an additional wooden action pawn.
The Hatshepsut deck is a clan located on the Nile Delta, with the deck being designed around that core concept. The faction introduces a new mechanism of assigning workers to Field cards to make them more fertile and effective.
The Amenhotep deck is designed around the concept of the passing of centuries, the sands of time. Locations in the deck will decline and get discarded at the end of the round if the player won’t spend resources to keep the card in the Empire.
Detective: Vienna Connection
Vienna Connection, although inspired by Detective, is a standalone game with new rules and game mechanisms that bring the spy theme to life. Players will manage resources (such as informants, bribes, and pieces of information), decode reports (including secret messages, codes, and wiretapped conversations), and will have to outsmart enemy spy agencies.
